Run your own node on the Simplicity signet.
Get the binaries
Pre-built binaries for Linux, macOS, and Windows are available at:
github.com/delta1/bitcoin — v29.2-inq-simplicity
Alternatively, build from source:
git clone https://github.com/delta1/bitcoin.git cd bitcoin git checkout v29.2-inq-simplicity cmake -B build && cmake --build build -j$(nproc)
Configure your node
Add the following to your bitcoin.conf:
[signet] signet=1 signetchallenge=00147cb2a6ddb8125278166fb414ed11b9f78a33ebe6 addnode=signet.simplicity-lang.org:38333
The signetchallenge identifies this custom signet chain.
The addnode connects to the authority node for initial peer discovery and block sync.
Start bitcoind
bitcoind -signet -daemon
Check sync progress:
bitcoin-cli -signet getblockchaininfo
Once synced, get a signet address with bitcoin-cli -signet getnewaddress
and request funds from the faucet.
